Semester 3 begins at Skate School - The Park District offers many skating programs at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink. It is never too late to sign up. Group classes begin on Sunday, February 5. February Holiday Mini-Camps - Kids, 6-17 years old, will have a chance to socialize and exercise over the February school break at the Parkwood Sports Complex. Tennis Camp includes instruction, games and match play. Figure Skating Camp includes 3 hours of group instruction and extra-curricular activities. WiFi at the Rink - With hot cocoa in hand, an ever-increasing number of attendees at the Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink are adding laptops and iPhones to their daily must-have items. Today, staying in touch is easier than ever since the lounge at the rink is fully wired with Wi-Fi. So, whether you use a PDA for business, bring a cell phone to check in with friends and family or need to surf the web to feed your news habit, you'll be covered.

Park Watch - The Parkwatch program is composed of observant residents willing to report vandalism and suspicious behavior occurring in the parks after dark. Please help to keep your parks and facilities in top shape by calling and reporting such activity to park security at 504-GNPD (504-4673). (For emergencies and to report a crime in progress, residents should still call 911.)
