Great Neck House Fall – 2016
General Information: Classes begin the week of September 12th and end the week of January 30th. Course registration is on a first come, first served basis during regular registration department hours. Parents are required to stay for all children’s classes except classes indicated. If you don’t see a class that meets your requirements please see our facility director about trying to coordinate another class. Monday classes run for 16 weeks, Tuesday 17 weeks, Wednesday and Thursday 19 weeks, Friday 18 weeks.
Get your cardio workout without pounding your joints. Followed with weights, core exercises and stretching. You will be more fit, feel energized.

Tone and Stretch
As you get older, do you find you can't do as much as you used to? Muscles begin to atrophy, resulting in weakened bones, recurring backache. Prevent these problems with regular exercise. The goal of this class is to keep a pain-free lifestyle.

Tai chi is a noncompetitive, self-paced system of gentle physical exercise and stretching. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring that your body is in constant motion. Tai chi is low impact and puts minimal stress on muscles and joints, making it generally safe for all ages and fitness levels.
