The Board of Commissioners meets here to formulate policy and budgets. The public is welcome to attend business meetings and weekly work sessions. Consult local papers for day and time. This office also hosts various community advisory committee meetings.
Reservations for group picnics and the picnic ball field are made here as well.

Superintendent Jason R. Marra has a background filled with years of parks and recreation education and experience. He arrived in Great Neck in February 2016, after 7 years of working as Superintendent of Parks, Recreation and Conservation for the Village of Scarsdale in Westchester County. Mr. Marra was one of only three young professionals in the nation selected by the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration for their Young Professional Externship program in 2014.

Assistant Superintendent, Anthony DiDomenico has years of parks and recreation experience from both the public and private sectors. After being awarded a Certificate for Excellent Work and Dedication from the town of Purchase in 2013, he became Assistant Superintendent of Parks, Recreation and Conservation for the Village of Scarsdale. In Great Neck since July 20016, he continues to strive to provide recreation services for people of all ages and abilities, all while recognizing individual needs and interests.


Commissioner Robert A. Lincoln, Jr. has been involved with the Park District since the 1970’s. He was elected to the board of commissioners of the Great Neck Park District every third year since the year 2000. Lincoln’s background in both government and the private sector has brought a unique perspective to the Park District in the areas of planning, maintenance and administration. He is a tremendous advocate for all users of Great Neck’s parks and cares about people of all ages and interests.


A longtime Great Neck resident, he also served as mayor of Russell Gardens, as well as a village trustee, and served as president of the Great Neck Village Officials Association. At one time he was also appointed the Nassau County director of inter-governmental affairs, reporting to the county executive. His involvement with the parks was recognized years ago when he was honored with the first-ever “Friend of the Parks” award presented in 2001 for his service in helping to preserve and enhance local open spaces.

Frank Cilluffo is a long-time Great Neck resident and retired New York City Police officer. As well as holding his title as Commissioner, he coaches the Great Neck Hockey programs for both abled and disabled youths and serves on the Great Neck Park District’s Andrew Stergiopoulos Ice Rink advisory committee. He promotes park safety, valuable sports programs, senior/retiree events, bike-path development, garden clubs and green-space revitalization. His priority is improving the safety and security at all Great Neck Parks and facilities for the community 24 hours a day.
